I am an interior designer and took my first meditation class in 1986. I wanted to become more aware of my spiritual nature. I have found that meditation practices help me be less and less influenced by my thoughts and emotions and more compassionate, less critical ,and more accepting. I love entering the blissful calm encountered during meditation. Meditation helps me handle stressful situations with more ease.
